171 young and 92 old people showed up for this final long middle distance flight.

By the old pigeons (again) “festival-Team Hooymans” with 1-2-3-5-6-7-8-9 and 21/54 and… again 1st 2nd 3rd provincial and 2nd 3rd 4th national!

Bravo Greg and “team”.

Lemmens - Mertens also resisted like a devil in a holy water vessel with

3-10-11-13-15-18 and 6/17. Most euros go to Balen.

Raf and Lars Luyckx came a little short for the absolute top but scored a nice 3/4 with almost all series.

Remarkable… only 3 of the 8 fanciers could "get on the magazine" !!! Duration old pigeons: 30 min

With the youngsters Vermeerbergen - Wilms on 1-3-8 and 7/19.

Father Jef Lemmens (Mertens-Lemmens) once again played brilliantly with

2-4-5-10 and 19/33, more than the 50% norm.

They also accounted for most euros with 6th get on 2 and 1st get on 5. Mario Van Saet also did a great job with 7-9 (2nd and 3rd get) out of 9 with a lot of rewarding runs. Raf and Lars Luyckx took in a rewarding miese of 10 on 11 and scored a nice 3/4.

For the rest, the 50% standard was not reserved for anyone.

145 old pigeons! I think it's a record for this category at this time of the year. Team Hooymans is once again making its mark with 1-2-4-6-7-8 of 34 me and… this time the signed were not at the appointment.

Total 19/34 and if I'm not mistaken again 1st and 2nd provincial old pigeons !!

Ivo Renders takes bronze with 2nd get and on 16 with 1st get the deposit.

Ivo scores 6/9. Raf and Lars Luyckx basketted 3 and we find these pigeons on 9-13-27 and thus 3/3. They take the series and the rest of the money.

Who also makes a firm grab in the till is Mario Van Saet with 2nd get on 39 and 1st get on 46 with all series on top.

The 50% standard is only reserved for Lemmens - Mertens with 10/20.

The “tough and especially overcrowded season” is starting to weigh!

Lemmens - Mertens adds his umpteenth honorary prize to his record of corona year 2020. They also simply take a 4/4.

Walter Mertens ends in second place and we also find him with a nice 5/7. Marc Lievens takes bronze with 1st get of 2

and the deposit is on 4 for Yvo and Wivina Verkoeyen also with 1st get of the 2.

Among the 95 yearlings also an umpteenth honorary prize for Team Hooymans (1st prov?) With 8th out of 10 but an excellent 7/10 prize.

With the 2nd get on 11, they also grab the deposit. Lemmens - Mertens stranded on 2 and 3 this time and they too can be satisfied with 10/16.

A nice 4th place for “newcomer” Donny and Mauro Van Gorp with 1st get out of 4.

50% norm for Walter Mertens with 7/14, Comb. Faes - Wils with 4/8.

367 youngsters… perhaps a depth record for the MFC, but yes, in this “blessed” year 2020 everything is apparently possible.

Why in God's name no old and year pigeons at the start?

There had to be driven anyway and a flight more or less will not matter for sure !!

In the MFC the victory for the 1st get of Roger Engelen with a rewarding 1/1 and the series with the 2nd get at 26 and a total score of 3/4 (the most of all participants). Mertens - Lemmens (father Ulrich) gave 42 with it, but to start with it already takes 2-5-11-14-15-16 and a score of 22/42, well played we say against that! Team Hooymans, with 36 entered, we find on 4-8-9-10 and 17/36 Comb. Faes - Wils takes bronze and place 6 and 17/39.

Besides the smaller groups, team Hooymans op32 takes the guaranteed 10/5… right in front of Mario Van Saet at 33, you just have to be lucky… or have bad luck! The difference is in any case more than 100 euros!

50% norm: Mario Prinsen 2/3, Van Roy-Philipsen 4/6 and then, with the big draft, so not that simple… Mertens Lemmens 22/42!

Duration of the youngsters: a little under 50 minutes… quite smoothly in my opinion!

1. Chateauroux

Start of the small long distance with youngsters and 15 "encourage" baskets 216 youngsters. The 1st get of the 12 (really) from Mario Van Saet was at the very top. Mario arrived 6/12. Ulrich and Eef Lemmens - Mertens won silver with 17th out of 21, but only 4/17 prize.

Team Hooymans basketed no less dn 82 and we find them on 3-4-7-9- and 21/82. They take almost all euros with 35, 1st get, a well-upholstered 10/5 and on top of that a number of times 1/1.

Perhaps the best player was Mertens - Lemmens (father Ulrich) who starts with 8-10-11 and takes 18/36 in the prizes.

Benny Hannes 2/4 and Comb. Faes - Wils 7/13 meet the 50% standard.

Still 35 old pigeons with a fantastic Ivo Renders on 1-3-4-8-9 and 5/7 and this with a serious “handicap” !!

Fernand and Koen Mariën showed up for the first time and take silver and 3/7. Fortunately for “friend” Raf and Lars Luyckx, Ivo Renders persists in “badly signed” and so father and son Luyckx earn the guaranteed 5/2 on 5.

With the 58 yearlings we are done very quickly. Ivo Renders plays everyone from pillar to post… with handicap (system broken and… chipping must be detected !!) Incredible! And yet, 1-2-4-5-6- and 7/9, but… 1st get MIS again ! Only Comb. Faes - Wils squeezes himself between all this violence on 3. Fokke Van Baelen scores 3/4 and we are indeed done talking.

Really a skinny animal, but what do you want in this “Corona year”, everything crammed together and every weekend TOO MANY flights.

So… 27 old pigeons with Walter Mertens on 1 and 2 of only 2 entered.

It simply couldn't be better !!!

Binnemans - Van de Weyer we find on 3 with also only 1.

Yvo Verkoeyen takes the guarantee on 5 and 6 and 2/3.

Duuttime: from 6.30 Saturday evening to Sunday morning 9.15.

42 yearlings and Valère and Dina Kempeneers are doing amazingly (again).

8 entered and 1-2-3-5 GORGEOUS !!

If I'm not mistaken, the last race for the fans of a mile more. 47 old pigeons with Ulrich and Eef Lemmens - Mertens on 1 with 6th get of the 12 and 5/12. At 9 they grab the deposit with 1st get.

Also here V. & D. Kempeneers in a leading role on 2-3-4- and 4/6.

Still 110 yearlings for "only" 7 fanciers.

Team Hooymans basketed 26 and takes 1-5-6-7-8-9 and 15/26.

If I am not mistaken, these 2 yearlings were also 1st and 2nd provincial !!

Molse long distance club weekend of 7-8-9 August

What should we tell about the past days? DISASTERS across the board. A Momignies lasting more than 10 hours !!! open to get 1/3 of the pigeons home. Soissons, middle distance… just the same!

Bourges with OLD PIGEONS… barely or not done the same day,

so NO 1/3 of the pigeons at home the same day… for less than 500 km!

Aurillac, indeed a good 700 km away, but even provincially only 3 (THREE) pigeons at home the same day and lasts until Sunday well after noon.

Ah, yes, then we still had Perpignan, released on Saturday morning 7.45 and the first pigeon in the MFC the next day around 2 pm, but it finished about 3 hours later, so… ??

Happy !! ?? the speed flights were even canceled on Sunday.

The losses can now hardly be overlooked, let alone comprehensible.

We have already heard all possible theories: transport, oxygen, heat, ozone,… a fact, no one is going to tell us exactly.

But… in extreme weather conditions, enthusiasts beware, we cannot or do not want to say more about this.

We want to end with ... KBDB will listen (in good time), think logically and know that after a weekend, there will be more weekends and (preferably) more years to come. There will always be criticism everywhere, but enough sleeping dogs have already been awakened. To all policymakers, and especially to all enthusiasts: "Keep your courage, after rain ..."

The money is all for Vermeerb. - Wilms - Huysmans with 2nd get on 15 and 1st get on ..; 38. Victor and Pieter Janssens score 2/2 and Mario Van Saet comes to a decent 6/9 on paper.

1. Aurillac

22 old pigeons with the honorary prize for Marc Lievens.

We find Valère and Dina Kempeneers at 2 and 5 and Ludo Timmermans at 3. Euros are simply NOT on the results.

Van Roy - Philipsen take 2/2.

Duration; (released Saturday morning) from SUNDAY about 9.15am to 2.30pm.

Among the 35 yearlings a supreme V and D Kempeneers with 16 entered, but still… 1 (same day at home) -2-3-4-6-7- and 8/16.

Marc Lievens scores 3/7 and then we have almost had the entire result. No euros on the result here either.

Duration (1 pigeon home on Saturday 9.30 pm) until Sunday afternoon a little after 3 pm.

1. Perpignan

57 old pigeons including Valère and Dina Kempeneers on 1 and 4 (1st get) and the guarantee is gone. Jan and Jens Van Gompel we find on 2 with 26 and a 9/26. Binnemans - Van de Weyer takes place 3 and 4/7 on paper.

For the rest… little or nothing to report.

Only… again well played (provincial) by our “Molse” fanciers.

Duration: from 13:45 to 16:45, a good 3 hours but still 900 km away.

Allen, not a single pigeon that achieves 800m / min, this does not say everything, but it does say a lot

The classic for our fans of the very grand distance.

And ... they have known, both provincially and nationally,

yes even internationally our fanciers have (very) big eyes !!!

Provincial 12 among the 17 first with the provincial victory on top.

And a lot of prices left. congratulations men !!

But… who are the absolute stars this year?

157 pigeons were basketed in the MFC and on numéro uno… with 1st get out of 45 !! FRANK JANSSEN, what an achievement !! Locally “only” 11/45, but there will be a lot more provincially. Frank adds another 7-8-9-14-16… and the guaranteed 20/10, a small € 350 is also for Frank (and de Willy ??).

Perhaps THE stars this time are our chairman and son,

Van Gompel Jan and Jens on… 2-3-6-11 and 16/27! Bravo!

At 4 we also find a resounding name in the long distance world, Valère and Dina Kempeneers with 1st get out of 7, good for the rest of the guarantee and a great 5/7! Golden wing winner 2019, Raf and Niels Stijnen also take their 1st out of 12 in place 5. That just makes 3 X 1st get among the 5 first prizes. Not only champions, but connoisseurs too. .

Also on the local result, a bit of a distorted picture this time due to enormous play in Mol and surroundings,

a creditable Swinnen - Jacobs 6/14 and especially our last national winner from a few weeks ago, Julien, Tom and Marie-José Aerts with a fantastic 2/2!

Duration in the MFC (released Friday morning 8.50): from Saturday 7.10 pm until Monday afternoon, but on Monday there were only just counted 4 prizes to be earned. At that time almost half of the prizes were still to be won provincially

With the 59 old pigeons a one-men show from Comb. Faes - Wils with… note 1-2-4-5- and 1st and 2nd get on post !! Van Roy - Philipsen with 3-12 of only 2 take the money. Victor and Pieter Janssens are 3/3 on paper and take a share of (little) euros at 17. Ivo Renders and Walter Mertens score a nice 3/4. Duration old pigeons: 43 min.

Among the 126 yearlings Ivo Renders at the top with 2nd get out of 5 and 3/5. also here Comb. Faes - Wils on stage on 2 but only 2/9 here.

Then the (traditional) festival Team Hooymans starts with 3-5-6-7-8 and 22/28, not that simple! Also the guarantee is for Team Hooymans with 2nd get to 12. Ivo Renders picks up some leftovers with 1st get on 32.

It is in vain to look for further excellence.

1. St.-Vincent Friday July 31 (43 old pigeons)

Not a single pigeon was able to complete the more than 950 km on the first day, but Valère and Dina Kempeneers were there very early on Saturday morning to take the prize with the 1st get out of 5 and the deposit is gone.

They add another 5-6 to it.

Ludo Timmermans stranded in 2nd place with 1st get of the 2 and this pigeon also flew for the guarantee, so that after these 2 pigeons all money was gone.

Hok Binnemans - Van de Weyer played a great result together at 3-4-7 and 5/8. Also here and smooth progress on Saturday: from a little after 6 in the morning to 12:30 in the afternoon.

Molse Fondclub Souillac 1 Aug.

47 old pigeons at the start, at least on a full weekly calendar. Still, credit where credit is due and that is in this category, once again, the tandem Ulrich and Eef Lemmens - Mertens who take the 2 first places and score 4/6. Only the signed ones failed completely this time, it was 6th-5th-4th and 3rd get !!!

Yvo and Wivina Verkoeyen confirm all the good things of the last few weeks and now clock 2/2 with a 3rd place. Marc Lievens scores a nice 2/2 and

Valère Kempeneers has also won many prizes for his only basketed pigeon.

Among the 115 yearlings a victory for Team Hooymans of 11 and (only 3/11). Also here a leading role for Lemmens - Mertens on 2-4-5-8-9 and 13/18, nice score! But… again the signed ones play a less attractive role!

The fancier probably not in top form, we have already seen other stunts this year!

Molse Fondclub weekend 24-25 July

1. Marseille (57 old pigeons)

Released on Friday at 6.45 am, the first pigeon was clocked in Westerlo the next morning before 6 am and this for a distance of almost 900 km.

The highest honor fell to Valère and Dina Kempeneers with 1st get out of 2. The tandem Lemmens - Mertens is also on 2 with 1st get out of 6. The money goes (again) to Balen.

Hok Binnemans - Van de Weyer takes places 3 and 4 and simply scores 5/5 !!! Furthermore, few to no standouts.

Duration of this match: from a little before 6 on Saturday morning to just 1 pm Saturday afternoon. Pretty smoothly I believe.

1. Agen (56 old birds and 233 yearlings)

Also a flight released on Friday, but here there were already a lot of pigeons on the roll call the same day. The victory, with more than 45 minutes ahead, is for Yvo and Wivina Verkoeyen with 1st get of the 3 and 2/3.

Marc Lievens takes silver and scores a perfect 3/3.

Bronze for Carlo, Nicole and Jozef Berghmans who take a nice 6th place. The group of 2 belongs to Marc Lievens,

the mise of 5 for Hok Binnemans - Van de Weyer.

Duration: from Friday 19.25 to the closing day and then 3 prizes the next morning.

No fewer than 233 yearlings with a few "great baskers" Team Hooymans took the victory with 22nd out of 38, but he continued with 3-5-7-9-10 and arrived at 20/38. Berghmans Cnj take a nice 2nd place.

Frank Janssens, 51 with 19 pigeons on paper and classified

Lemmens –Mertens with 48 entered this 15 times. There are hardly any Euros on this result, it is good to see that for the men of the extreme long distance it is really a “try flight” for their yearlings. Which we understand very well!

Nevertheless, the prize camp is reasonably over. Start Friday around 7.30 pm and the nearly 80 prizes are earned Saturday morning around 7.30 am.

Montélimar (21 old birds and 79 yearlings)

By the old pigeons and umpteenth honorary prize for Walter Mertens with a 2nd get of the 2 Silver for Yvo and Wivina Verkoeyen, who are also well on the move, making it 3/3 !! 110 old pigeons with the victory for "speed specialist" Jos Vermeulen !!

Mentioned last week with a great 3rd place, now he does 2 places better and shoots the main bird. Congratulations, Jos !!

Silver for the 1st get from Raf and Lars Luyckx who are responsible for the fattest fish: the guaranteed 5/2 with all side bets, well worth it! With a 14th place, father and son Luyckx score an excellent 2/2. Victor and Pieter Janssens take 3rd place, also with 1st get and they clean up the leftovers. They also score a 2/2. Vermeerb.-Wilms - Huysmans we see on 4 and 8 and 5/8 and Ivo Renders also scores smoothly again on 6-7 and 5/7.

Gebr. Hooybergs take 2 top 10 places at 6-10 and arrive at 3/8.

The guaranteed group is for Raf and Lars Luyckx on 23.

We have no choice but to start with the yearlings this time.

We have (almost?) Never experienced what Greg and Team Hooymans.be achieve here in the MFC. From 465 yearlings, although 87 in the race themselves, nrs 1-2-3-4-6-7-9-10-… 22nd pigeon at the 27th prize and closed with 61/87, say for yourself !!! ! And then comes the icing on the cake, 1st and 2nd national. I still hear some people say: "Yes, but 87 with me"

Then feel free to look at the signed ones. 1st get to 4, 2nd get to 10, 3rd get to 1 Also all cents, guarantees, series… are for Team Hooymans.

An excellent result !!

With the old pigeons victory for the 8th get out of the 8 from Ivo Renders and a fine 7/8. Silver for Cois and Mieke Van Roy - Philipsen with also 1st get on 10 and a 2/2. Bronze for Roger Engelen who adds 5-13 and 6/7.

The best here are certainly Victor and Pieter Janssens on 4-6-12 (first 3 nominated) from 5 entered and 5/5 !! Raf and Lars Luyckx grab the guarantee on 14 and 21 and the series with 1st and 2nd nominated. and a 6/7.

Great price for Gebr. Hooybergs with 10/10 (public transport included),

Jan Van der Auwera scores 4/5 and Peter Geerinckx, 2/2, Fokke Van Baelen 3/3 and Paul Verwimp and Noels M and G even score 5/5.

268 old pigeons with the 4th get of the 5 from Jan Van der Auwera to the win. With 9-16, Jan comes to 3/5.

Jos and Mil Hooybergs take silver with 6th get out of 6 and 3/6.

Raf and Lars Luyckx complete the podium, but with the 1st get of the 9 and the money is gone. Total 7/9.

Ivo Renders takes 2 top 10 places on 5-6 and comes on 8/12.

Ulrich Lemmens - Mertens also tackle 8-10-11-21-25 and 8/15 at the front.

We find Mieke and Swa Va Roy - Philipsen on 15-17 with 1st and 2nd get of the 3

Prize packers: only Jos Vermeulen comes to more than 70% with 5/6 and René Van de Weyer even clocks the full 100% with 2/2.

We started it, especially with a respectable number of pigeons in the MFC. Of course, traditionally, a large number of extreme long distance pigeons at the start and thus compared to other federations an (abnormally) long duration of the races.

With the 364 old pigeons Gebr. Jos and Mil Hooybergs in a true star role.

1-4-5-7-8 and 9/14 per 10 Victor and Pieter Janssens we find on 2 with a rewarding 1/1 and 1st get of the 2. Ivo Renders takes bronze here.

Prize-pickers, just among the 40 first: Walter Mertens 6/11,

Ivo Renders 2/3 and Raf and Lars Luyckx 2/2.

The (few) euros for Raf and Lars Luyckx at 20.

Also with the 351 yearlings Mol-Millegem above with Walter Mertens on 1-2-7-10 and the Gebr. Hooybergs also speak a nice word with this 5-6-8-9.

The guaranteed 5/2 is for the 2nd get of Team Hooymans on 17 just in front of Raf and Lars Luyckx on 19.
