During the session of the national sports committee on 16/06/2020 and following this, the majority of the national mandatories (national general meeting) approved the following points:

Abolition of the rubber ring on the national and international races in 2020, taking into account the covid-19 pandemic (fancier, however, has the option to have a rubber ring applied at basketing)

Control (art. 98 NSR) will expire in 2020 and control will be performed with the new KBDB control system
Registrations (art. 101 NSR) - all pigeons must be registered (both for the national grand middle-distance, long distance and the international grand distance races) with the last 4 digits of the identity ring within the in art. 101 deadlines provided for by the NSR
Please note that the pigeons that participate in the (inter) national races 2020 and are manually basketed must be provided with a “special control chip ring”. Like the electronic chip ring, this chip ring is linked to the identity ring in the basketing classrooms. Cost price of this chip ring 1.10 EURO (at the expense of the enthusiast). Taking into account the fact that certain associations experience problems for this coupling of chip rings (lack of time), this procedure will be applied from 01/07/2020 (basketing Limoges I).
